A lot better grip, less noise and amazing all round in all weather. Got them just before bad snow and they were perfect

Excellent, haven’t used them in the snow yet but icy roads have been a breeze. Also good in the wet.

Lovely tyres, they feel very safe on wet roads and are quiet too. Great tread pattern and generally look good on the car.

The car drives smoothly with little noise. It grips well in the wet, you can see the dry lines in the road behind you when driving through surface water. In the dry conditions much the same I fill confident in all weather conditions the car will not slip or slide.

They offer no protection for my alloy wheels.

The tyres are great in all conditions cant fault them

These replaced a set of michelin pilot sport 5 so i was not expecting them to perform to the same level. Istead i wanted to try all season tyres on my golf r estate with 19" wheels to see if these were a little less crashy over the terrible scottish roads. I have to say they have made a noticeable difference. Dont get me wrong there is no miracle cure for 19" 35 profile tyres but these are significantly comfier day to day. Grip and performance is close and really good on cold wet days but you do notice the loss of sharpness on turn in generally compared to the mps5's. That is about the only downside to performance. They are also very rounded off at the tyre knuckle to the point it looks like i needed a wider tyre (i don't i checked) and rim protection is non existent so stay away from kerbs!!! I am concerned the outer tread of the tyre may wear quickly. They run really quiet, clear rain and wet road very well, have plenty of grip on icy mornings, dry, wet for everything other than track days. Not tried them in summer so? Solid 7/10.

I've now driven >2000 miles on these tyres in all conditions and I'm impressed so far. The steering feels noticeably lighter at first, but you get used to it. In the dry and warm there's a slight lack of precision on initial turn (as the softer rubber moves about a bit) but the tyres then grip well. They may well be beaten (marginally) by summer tyres on a test track, but you wouldn't notice any shortfall on the public road. Grip in foul wet autumn conditions with wet leaves and mud on poor roads was exceptional. On snowy and icy roads in the alps (at down to -20c), they felt sure-footed and took the car up slopes I wouldn't have tried with just chains on the rear with summer tyres all round. On the downside, there seems to be a small fuel economy hit, losing perhaps 2-4% vs summer tyres. However, overall, there's not much compromise with these tyres vs summer and winter specifics, and I won't be bothering with a set of winter wheels any more.

Always trusted and relied on this brand and they last a long time with careful driving. Worth the price as you can't mess with tyres.
